Aveeno Positively Radient Targeted Tone Corrector

***I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.***

Recently I received this Aveeno Positively Radient Targeted Tone Corrector from Influenster to try out. I don't have any dark spots that I needed to lighten so I just thought that I would use it and see if it evens out my skin tone a bit and maybe moisturize. Here is a list of the Ingredients-
Water, Cyclopentasiloxane Cyclohexasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Glycerin, Peg-8, Stearyl Heptanoate, C14-22 Alcohols, Steareth-21, Stearyl Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, C12-20 Alkyl Glucoside, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract, Polyacrylamide, Hroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Squalane, Bht, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Disodium Edta, P-Anisic Acid, Glyceryl Polymethacrylate, Ascorbic Acid, Dihydroxy Methylchromone, Xanthan Gun, Polysorbate 20, Retinol, Laureth-7, Polysorbate 60, Propylene Glycol, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Palmitoyl Oligopeptide.

I have been only using it at night after I wash my makeup off and my face is clean, then I go to bed. I have to tell you before hand that my skin on my face is super sensitive, I've been known to have allergic reactions to different things like foundation, powder, cleansers, and moisturizers. Usually I don't try anything new (unless it's the weekend and I don't plan on going anywhere special and I really want to try a product) but I thought I'd give it a shot.

This is a full sized (1.1fl oz) tube I received. Upon opening I noticed that there was a nice pleasant scent that isn't overwhelming. A strong fragrance is a huge turn off for me and especially my husband (he has a really sensitive sniffer and can't stand strong smelling anything) so I'm very picky about scent. It is a nice light consistency and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky or greasy once applied.

After the first application I didn't really notice anything but upon further use I noticed that I would have slight red blotches appear but they would be gone by morning usually so I paid no attention, I figured that I just scrubbed a little too much when washing my face. After the fourth use I noticed that the red blotches were still there in the morning and now they itched. *Red flag* this means my skin does not like this product and it's a sign that I have to discontinue use.

Now I want to say that I don't think this is a bad product I just think it didn't work for me. I love Aveeno's body and hand lotions a lot and they work really well for me, I have also tried many of their other products, just this particular one didn't work for me. My face is very particular about what I put on it, which sometimes is a pain in the butt because I love trying new products out but am always afraid I'll have a reaction. Oh well, I will just go back to what works for me! I had to apply hydrocortisone cream to the afflicted areas and take a Benedryl to help, also just had to wash my face again and apply my usual moisturizer. By the time morning came around my skin was all calmed down.

As you can see in this picture you can see that the apples of my cheeks and my chin are red. This was after applying the Targeted Tone Corrector about an hour or so before I took the pic, my skin was not red at all when I applied this. I don't share a lot of bare faced pics but I wanted to show you my skin's reaction to this.

Aveeno products can be purchased at just about any retailer so you shouldn't have a hard time finding their products.
