ColourPop Shaaanxo Quad Eye Look

First off I want to thank everyone for the lovely comments when I posted that I've been MIA lately because my Dad passed away suddenly and my sisters and I have been dealing with all of those arrangements and just spending time with our family remembering him. Sorry that it's been a while since I've last posted but this time with my family was important and needed. Now on to my post for you!!

Today I have an eye look I created with a ColourPop Super Shock Shadow Quad that I recently purchased. This is a foursome created by the super fabulous Shaaanxo. The perfect bundle of shades that allow you to create a multitude of looks! I purchased this myself and I am so glad I did. These shadows are amazing!! I am becoming obsessed with these ColourPop shadows. Colourpop shadows are cruelty free, bunny approved, and all but 5 of them are vegan. These shadows only cost $5 each!! That's an amazing price for a product this good.

This first thing I did to create this look is I primed my lids with my Hard Candy Eyes The Limit eye primer. Then I took Selfie, which is a mid toned peachy brown in a matte finish, and a crease brush and put that into my crease for a transition shade.

Then I took Rebel, a mid toned khaki green in a matte finish, and I applied that over my lid only using my middle finger. I applied it in a patting motion to pack the color over the lid. Then I took a fluffy blending brush and put Deluxe, which is a warm red bronze with a pearlized finish, in the crease and the outer corner. I also dragged it on the lower lash line using my Real Techniques detail eye brush. I didn't drag it all the way across the lower lash line but I did it a good 3/4 of the way (maybe a little more).

Then to finish off the look I took XO, a light champagne with a pearlized finish, and used my pinky finger to apply this lightly to the inner corner of my eye to highlight. I also lightly used my finger to drag it on the inside corner of the lower lash line to connect it with Deluxe.

Lastly I lined my waterline and tightline with my Charcoal Loreal Silkissimme liner and then applied a couple coats of mascara. I can't remember which mascara I used but I'm pretty sure it was my Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara.

ColourPop Super Shock Shadow Collab Collection from Shaaaanxo

Today I have some of the Colourpop Super Shock Shadows to show you. This is a foursome created by the super fabulous Shaaanxo. A little about these shadows before I go on to the swatches. The formula on these shadows is completely unique and super soft and highly pigmented. They recommend that for best application you pat it on your lids with your fingers, but don't press down too hard on the shadow pot because they are really soft and creamy but they aren't a cream, they are a powder shadow. You can use a soft brush also to apply but I've heard recommendations that you should use a synthetic brush like the Real Techniques brushes (those are the brushes I use).

XO is a light champagne with a pearlized finish.

Selfie is a mid-tone peachy brown with a matte finish.

Rebel is a mid-tone khaki green with a matte finish.

Deluxe is a warm red bronze with a pearlized finish.

ColourPop Lippie Pencils and Lippie Stix Wifey & Heart On

Today I have some more of the Colourpop Lippie Stix and Lippie Pencils to show you. I purchased these myself and I am so glad I did. These lippies are amazing!! I know I've said it before but they really are amazing. These Lippie Stix and Lippie Pencils have been my go to lippies ever since I tried my first ones.You can read my review on the first three batches of Lippie Stix and Lippie Pencils I purchased here, here and here.

Let me just say that these are not only amazing products but they are super budget friendly too! All of their products that are on their site are $5 each. $5 is so affordable!!! Plus if you order $30 or more you get free shipping. They have the Lippie Stix, Lippie Pencils, the new blushes, and they have their Colour Shock Shadows (I ordered 4 more shadows that were part of a vlogger collaboration with Shaaanxo when I ordered these lippie stix and pencils. You can read my review on my previous posts on the Super Shock Shadows here and here). I haven't tried the new blushes yet but I've heard some really great reviews from other bloggers and vloggers. I'll have to purchase a couple and see how awesome they really are for myself!

These Lippie Pencils are not like any other lip pencil that I've tried. I usually stay away from lip pencils because they are dry and hard to apply but these are super creamy and go on so smoothly. They look like a plastic retractable pencil but they do not retract, you do have to sharpen them and it is suggested that you use a really good sharp sharpener (I use the Grindhouse one from Urban Decay). The Lippie Stix also come in a slim stick that is retractable, their packaging is just so slim and nice.

This time I purchased 2 Lippie Stix and matching Lippie Pencils. I've been on a pink kick lately so this time around I purchased the Wifey Lippie Stix and matching Pencil and Heart On Lippie Stix and matching pencil. I really love the Heart On, it's my favorite out of these two shades.


Wifey is a bright lavender pink in a satin finish.

Heart On is a bright cool toned magenta in a matte finish.

As you can see they are very pigmented and they do apply easily, they are super creamy, and not drying at all on my lips. I really do love these lippies and plan on expanding my ColourPop collection some more.

This time I purchased 2 Lippie Stix and 1 Lippie Pencil. I didn't get the matching Lippie Pencil to the other Lippie Stix because there isn't a matching one available, you can just use one of the other ones that is close to the shade of it.

The first ones I'm going to show you are the matching Lippie Stix and Pencil and they are in the shade Lumiere. Lumiere was created in a collaboration with Kathleen over at KathleenLights on YouTube, if you haven't watched her videos you should because she's super funny and has a lot of great videos. Lumiere is a dusty mauve pink in a matte finish. I LOVE this one, I love it so much that when I first got it I wore it everyday for at least a week. It still is one of my favorite go-tos for everyday looks for work. I will tell you this baby has some serious staying power! I can go all day at work without having to touch up my lips and that is with drinking from a can or water bottle all day and eating lunch. If I don't have anything special going on in the evening after work I don't touch up my lips and then when I wash my face at bedtime there is still a hint of this on my lips that I wash off.

This is Lumiere Lippie Stix layered over the Lumiere Lippie Pencil.

The next one I got is a new shade and it is in their new finish. This is Juicy. Juicy is a bright strawberry pink in the hyper glossy finish. This one doesn't have a coordinating Lippie Pencil to go with the Stix but you can use one of the other Lippie Pencils that are close in shade and line you lips with that. I might suggest using the Lippie Pencil in Punky or maybe Scandy.

I have the Scandy Pencil so I'll here is a picture of Juicy Lippie Stix layered over Scandy Lippie Pencil.

As you can see from all of my swatches these are really pigmented in color and they feel so great on your lips. I didn't have any problems with them drying out my lips or bleeding/feathering. I think that when you layer the stix over the pencil you have less of a chance of any bleeding or feathering. I also think that it extends your wear time when you layer them. You can also see the difference in the finishes of these two, Lumiere is a matte finish and Juicy is the new hyper-glossy finish.

It is still available but I don't know for how much longer it will be available. There are six shadows in this collection, a couple of them ColourPop has decided to make a part of the permanent collection. The Collection comes in a cute little gift box that really wouldn't need any wrapping if you were going to give this as a gift. It is $30 but that still equals out to $5 per shadow (just like the regular price of the shadows). In this collection the shades are Halo, Tinsel, Sleigh, Drift, Partridge, and Doe-a-Deer. Drift and Partridge were made permanent this year.

Halo – (Golden champagne dusted with soft gold glitter / Satin Luxe Finish)

Sleigh – (Icy sage sprinkled with tons of multicolored glitter / Metallic Finish)

I know a couple of these shades are now a part of the permanent collection but I wanted them all! They just blend so easily and have some insane pigmentation and sparkle! I wear Super Shock Shadows just about everyday!!


The next one I purchased is Ibiza. Ibiza is a bright turquoise with a silver and gold duo chrome finish. This one is gorgeous!! I have worn this recently and I just lined my lower lash line with it and man did it make my blue eyes pop!

You can see that when they ship out your products you get a little personalized card (which I think is so cute and special) and they also include a little information card about the products with tips and tricks on it and other information. They are packaged so well in the box so that they don't get damaged in shipping. My box was lined with foam and then each item was wrapped in bubble wrap to further protect them.

I bought just 2 Lippie Stix and the matching Lippie Pencils. I already have my eye on the new Limited Edition Holiday collection of Lippie Stix they have out now and I'm hoping to purchase those before they go away. If I do I will be sure to share those with you as well.

Here's a quick swatch of Bound and Flawless on the back of my hand. Left to right are: Bound Lippie Pencil, Bound Lippie Stix, Flawless Lippie Pencil, and Flawless Lippie Stix.

The first color I bought was Flawless. Flawless is a deep red violet in a satin finish. This is such a nice deep color that is looks a little vampy on my without really washing me out. I love this one!! It's so creamy! I did notice that it did stain my lips some but that's ok with me. I got amazing wear time on these. I layer the pencil under the Lippie Stix to make it last longer. I think I got something like 6 hours of good wear time. It did transfer onto my glass a little bit but I didn't mind that either (for my I always expect that with any lipstick or gloss). Below is a pic of just the Flawless Lippie Pencil all over my lips.

The next shade I bought was Bound. Bound is a light nude pink in a glossy finish. I have found myself reaching for this one a lot lately. I don't know how it does it but when I layer the pencil under the lippie stix this shade makes my lips look a little fuller. This is a glossy finish so it does have a shine to it and it doesn't last as long as the satin and matte finishes. With the glossy finishes I would highly recommend wearing the lippie pencil under just to extend your wear. Below is a pic of the Bound Lippie Pencil alone all over my lips.
