September Ipsy Glambag Opinions

Today I am going to show you all the products I received in my September Ipsy Glam bag. This month's theme was Street Style.

I received the Be A Bombshell Smooth Criminal Powder. This is a translucent formula that works for all skin tones. It is made from 100% silica and leaves your skin with a matte finish without drying it out. The finishing powder can be worn alone or to set your foundation. I have not tried it yet but I plan on trying it out real soon. I am curious to see if it lives up to its description.

The next item I received in my bag was the Mitchell and Peach Luxury Hand Cream. I have tested this out on the back of my hand and so far I haven't been really impressed with it, it seems to be just like any other hand cream to me. The other thing I noticed was that it had a strong smell that didn't appeal to me. I will be putting this away and only using it in a pinch because scent is a big thing with me and if I don't like a scent then not matter how great the product, I probably won't use it much. Here is Ipsy's product description of this one, "This easily absorbed hand cream contains Vitamin E, shea butter and English honey to soften, nourish and protect the skin. All Mitchell and Peach products contain matured essential oils from the Mitchell farming estate in Kent, England."

I also received the Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser. I have not tested this product out because I usually wait until a weekend when I have nothing going on to test out face products. Since my skin is really sensitive I like to allow myself time of not having to be anywhere in case my face/skin has a reaction to a new product. As soon as I test it out I think I will do a review on it to let you know my thoughts. Here is the product description from Ipsy for this product, "This gentle cleanser washes away impurities without drying, irritating or causing redness. Cucumber hydrates and soothes. Watercress, rich in antioxidants, helps protect skin from free radical damage. Alcohol-Free. Gluten-Free. Vegan."

The next two items I received were my favorites out of the whole bag and made my day when I seen I was getting them because I really wanted these two products.

I received the Pacifica polish in Red Red Wine. It is a 7free, 100% Vegan Cruelty-Free polish. I love items that are cruelty free because I have a soft spot for animals. You can read my review of the polish here. This is a really beautiful shade and I am in LOVE with the polish.

The last item I got was the Hikari lipstick in Cabernet. This is a beautiful berry/wine color and it really goes well with my skin tone. I think I have been wearing this almost every day since it arrived. It has a nice matte finish that isn't drying. It lasts really well and just makes my lips feel great. You can read my review of it here.

For those of you who are not familiar with Ipsy, here is a little description of it...

For those of you who are not real familiar with Ipsy here's a little breakdown of what it is...Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that you sign up for. It costs $10 a month and they bill you on the first of the month every month. Shipping usually starts around the middle of the month and they start giving out little sneak peeks of what is all going to be in the bags for the month. They start the sneak peeks around the first of the month. Right around the 10th or 12th of the month they open up your "Glam Room" and it will show you what you will be getting in your bag. You get roughly 5 products in your bags and the items they choose for you are somewhat based on the beauty quiz you take when you sign up. Each product is usually a deluxe sized sample and there is usually at least one item that is full sized. You can re-take the quiz at any time if you are not satisfied with the types of products you are getting. Your products are packed inside a cute little make-up bag that is designed for the theme for the month. If you are interested in signing up I will give you my link here. Check out this link for more information and to sign up.
