Here is the other half of Zoya's Summer 2015 Collections. This is the Paradise Sun collection and this one is some beautiful metallics! I love these new summer colors!!!
Fully saturated with a gorgeous micronized metallic sheen, these shimmering beauties are much like sunshine sparkling onwater. Meant to be used as an independent color, these shades feature afull-coverage, densely pigmented formula.
Genesis is a crystalline white with a micronized metallic pearl finish. Designed to look like micro-fine diamond dust! I like a good white but I am really not sure of how I like the metallic white. It might take me a little getting used to but overall I was pleased with the performance of this one.
Selene is a true teal with a micronized metallic pearl finish. A unique shade with an aqua fleck that resembles deeper layers of ocean water. It is really more of a teal in person but my pictures turned out with it looking more green than anything. I wish I could have gotten pictures that are more true to color but my camera just wouldn't cooperate.
Oceane is a true turquoise with a micronized metallic pearl finish that reflects the clearest blue ocean waters. This blue is breathtaking! I was completely blown away by this one.
Isa is a deep blue-based purple with a micronized metallic pearl finish and an aqua flash that embodies the beauty of exotic island flowers. This purple is more of a blurple (blue/purple) and I really liked it. Purple is another one of my favorite colors.
Mae is a warm magenta pink with a micronized metallic pearl finish, reminiscent of vibrant Mediterranean flowers. This is one of my favorites from this part of the collection. I always love a good pink!
Aphrodite is a vibrant summer red with a micronized pearl metallic finish and multi-hued flash that brings it to life. I had heard from other bloggers that the label on this one was misspelled so I was curious to see if mine was too. When I got my package and I looked, sure enough the label is misspelled but this one is called Aphrodite. Again, my camera didn't cooperate with the pictures for this one but it is more red in person.
I had no issues with any of these in this collection. The only one that went on a little streaky was Genesis but I think that was just because it was a white. Once I put the second coat on it was all good!! I used 2 coats for all of these and pictures were all taken indoors with artificial lighting. Overall I am very pleased with the performance of all of these in this collection. They had a great formula and all went on pretty smoothly, they weren't thick or goopy. I did not use a topcoat on any of these for my swatch pictures.
These are available at Zoya.com and retail for $9 each. You should be able to get them at select salons and Ulta stores in the near future.

Zoya Island Fun Summer 2015 Collection
****Press Sample****
Zoya has came out with their Summer 2015 Collections and I am just dying over them! They are so bright and beautiful! I feel like these are going to be a huge hit this year.
These shades will make you ready for an island vacation, they are playful creams that embody a tropical getaway! They are strong in color to balance thebrilliance of the summer sun, with a flawless cream formula.
Jace is a modern tropical green in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula. A green that is more muted than lime and surprisingly wearable! This is one that I wasn't real sure on because it is such a different green but I do like it more than I thought I would. I would describe it more like a dusty lime green than a tropical green. For some reason when I hear tropical green I just think bright.
Cecilia is a classic teal in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula. This one I think is one of my favorites out of this part of the collection! This one also could have gotten by with one coat but I applied 2 coats anyway.
Talia is a true turquoise in full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula. This one is really more turquoise in person than it shows in the pictures and it went on so smoothly. I really liked this one!
Serenity is a summer purple in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula. Reminiscent of beautiful blooming irises, a harbinger of summer! This is such a fun purple for the summer! I can totally see myself wearing this one a lot this year.
Nana is a deep summer fuchsia in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula. I love this fuchsia, it was prettier than I expected and I probably could have gotten by with just one coat on this one but I used 2 anyways.
Demetria is a vibrant poppy red in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula. This is a really pretty red and it's perfect for the summer.
This part of the Summer 2015 collections is my favorite. Usually I am all about the metallics but these ones this year really blew me away. I had no issues with any of these, the formula was amazing and they weren't thick or goopy at all. Some of these I could have gotten by with just one coat because they are so full coverage but I used 2 coats anyway. I used 2 coats on all of these and the pictures were all taken indoors with artificial lighting. All of these are so shiny without a topcoat (Which is how I showed them all here) so you could go without but I always add a topcoat for protection and to try to prolong my wear of my mani.
These are available on Zoya.com and they retail for $9 each. I believe in the near future that you will be able to purchase them in select salons and Ulta stores.

May Ipsy Glam Bag
Today I am going to share with you what I received in my Ipsy Glam Bag for the month of May. This month's theme is Jetsetter and the bags are from Breakups to Makeup.
For those of you who are not real familiar with Ipsy here's a little breakdown of what it is...Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that you sign up for. It costs $10 a month and they bill you on the first of the month every month. Shipping usually starts around the middle of the month and they start giving out little sneak peeks of what is all going to be in the bags for the month. They start the sneak peeks around the first of the month and you can see those on their Facebook and Instagram pages. Right around the 10th or 12th of the month they open up your "Glam Room" and it will show you what you will be getting in your bag. You get roughly 5 products in your bags and the items they choose for you are somewhat based on the beauty quiz you take when you sign up. Each product is usually a deluxe sized sample and at least one of the items is full sized. You can re-take the quiz at any time if you are not satisfied with the types of products you are getting. Your products are packed inside a cute little make-up bag that is designed for the theme for the month. If you are interested in signing up I will give you my link here. Check out this link for more information and to sign up.
As always included with your bag is a little card with the theme on it and either has more information about the theme, the Ipsy beauty vloggers, or inspirational quotes. This month the theme is Jetsetter and the bag is so cute. It is a canvas bag with the signature Ipsy zipper pull and I love the print on it..."Contents: My Life" which is what most women carry in their makeup bags, lol!
The first item I got in my bag this month is probably my favorite out of all of it. I received the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Lip Pencil + BONUS Revolution High Color Lipgloss. This liner is a long lasting waterproof liner that glides on smoothly to prime and define your lips for a long lasting lip color and clean lines. I have been wanting this pencil for quite some time and now I have a deluxe sample of it to try out. Also included with the pencil were 2 little blister packs of the new Revolution High Color Lipglosses in the shades Bittersweet and Failbait for us to try out. I had heard these were coming out and I was so excited to try them out first. I will say that I loved the lipgloss samples so much that I went out and bought some of them at Ulta (I'll have a post up on those soon).
The next item I got was the Chella Eyebrow Color Pencil in the shade Tantalizing Taupe. I have not tried this one out yet but I will try it soon, lately I've been using tinted brow get on my brows but I really want to see how this works for my brows. The pencil seemed to glide smoothly and have a creamy consistency. It is a mechanical pencil which I love because sometimes I hate sharpening wooden pencils, the tips usually break off or crumble so mechanical is always nice to have. This was a full sized product.
Then 3rd item I got was the Peter Lamas Detoxifying Citrus C Facial Cleanser. I have tried this once so far and I was pleased with the way it cleansed my skin. Plus since I have sensitive skin I was worried that my skin would react badly to it but I had no reaction at all and it left my skin feeling soft, smooth, and clean. It did not have a harsh scent so that was nice too. This has a purifying blend of Chamomile, Coconut, and Alba Bark combined to lock in moisture. It is 100% Vegan, paraben-free, and sulfate-free.
The 4th item I received was the Luxie Beauty Rose Gold Tapered Blending Eye Brush 205. I love this brush, it's so soft and pretty. I got another brush in my Ipsy bag from this company a couple months ago, it was an angled powder brush or something for your face and I absolutely love it so when I seen I was getting this one I was excited. This brush is 100% Animal Cruelty Free and it is made with high quality synthetic hair bristles that are super soft. It is also coated with a revolutionary antibacterial solution for minimal brush cleaning. I have used this brush a little and I am in love with it!!
The last item I got was the CoTZ Face Natural SPF 40. I have not tried this out yet so I can't say how it feels on, how well it works, or if it has a good scent or not. It is a weightless formula that will leave your skin feeling silky, smooth, and non-greasy. It is 100% free of oils, chimical sunscreens, preservatives, fragrances, oils, parabens, PABA, gluten, and Phythalates. Some people say because it is tinted and has a matte finish that it works well under your makeup and could be used like a primer. I just haven't tried it out yet so I can't comment on my opinions on all that yet.
Overall I love this bag and everything I got in it. I really am blown aways most months on the quality of the products that we get in our bags for as little as $10!! It is a nice little treat to myself every month!!

Zoya Spring Floral Accent Mani
Today I have some Spring Floral Nail art that I did using the Zoya Spring 2015 Delights Collection. I only did an accent nail for the nail art because I wasn't sure how I was going to like when it was finished.
I started out with a base coat of my Sally Hansen nail strengthener and then I added 2 coats of Zoya Eden on all my fingers except my ring fingers.
For this floral nail art I wanted it to be negative space (meaning that you don't completely cover the nail with color and you leave some of your natural nail peek through). I took my dotting tools and starting dotting different sized flowers on my nail using Zoya Eden (pink) and Zoya Rayne (metallic blue) for the flowers and then for the centers of the flowers I used Zoya Trixie. I also added some random dots in those same colors throughout the nail as well.
Once it was all dried I added my topcoat of Out The Door to all of my nails and let them dry. This is also a really easy mani to recreate and you don't necessarily have dotting tools to create the dots and flowers.
All these Zoya shades are available on Zoya's site and retail for $9 each. You can also find Zoya polishes at select salons and Ulta stores.

Pops of Neon Mani
Today I have a cute little mani that I did not long ago on myself and my sister. This is a really simple mani to create and you don't even need to have some dotting tools to do it. You can use a few things that you may have lying around your house to create the dots, you could use a bobby pin, the tip of a pencil, or the end of one of those stick pins that have the pearl ball on the end for sewing.
For these I put down our base coats (I honestly can't remember what I used for the base coats but I think it was either my Sally Hansen nail strengthener or Zoya Anchor). Once the base coats were dry I put on 2 coats of Zoya Willa from the Holiday 2014 Wishes Collection. I love this because it is such a beautiful black cream.
When our color Willa was dry I took my little pots of acrylic neon paints and dipped my dotting tools in the colors I wanted and placed those dots around the nails as you see here. I love using acrylic paint for my nail art because it dries fast so I don't have to wait as long to apply my topcoat and worry about smudging.
For my mani I wanted to keep mine shiny so I added a topcoat of Out The Door to mine and let them dry. For my sister's I used the Sally Hansen Big Matte Topcoat to make hers a matte finish. We let our nails dry and voila!
These were so fun and easy to do that I am going to try something like this again for the summer, I just haven't figured it all out yet.
