Today I am going to share with you the newest Urban Decay lip products. I purchased a couple of them after I received a sample in my Ipsy bag a little while ago. These are the Urban Decay Revolution High Gloss Lipglosses. I bought the shades Bittersweet and Scandal.
Bittersweet (shown above) is a beautiful purple shade that is pretty bold (at least for me anyway).
Scandal (shown above) is a beautiful bright pink and is so perfect for summer for me.
I love these lipglosses, they are so comfortable to wear. They have an amazing staying power that I am really blown away with. I never expected them to last as long as they do, especially for a gloss. I can confidently say that I have easily 6 hours of wear without requiring any touch-ups. At around hour 7 I did notice that it was just starting to show some wear but to me that's amazing for a gloss. It isn't sticky or tacky on your lips. It does feel thicker on but in no way did it feel sticky or tacky to me, very comfortable to wear. I also noticed that it did not dry my lips out either, it was very moisturizing on my lips. The shades are very pigmented and I really love that!
The applicator is a plush silicone paddle applicator that is a bit rounded at the tip to let you have great control for application. The tube is a clear barrel so that you can clearly see the shade inside. The label that lists the color name is usually on the bottom of the tube but since these tubes are the usual round tubes it is towards the bottom of the barrel on the backside of the tube. The tube shape is a kind of flattened oval shape. The tube holds 0.17fl/oz of gloss. Urban Decay's site says that they contain their "Pigment Infusion System™ gives the formula its super creamy texture, insane pigmentation and superior color dispersion. It’s also laced with Hilurlip™, which defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller". I feel that the best way to get long lasting wear without it feathering is to layer the gloss over the Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone Primer Pencil, this is a clear pencil that you can line and fill in your lips with to prime them for the gloss and extend your wear time.
The Revolution High Gloss Lipglosses are available in a wide arrange of 14 different shades. They retail for $22. These are available at a multitude of places that Urban Decay products are sold such as Ulta, Sephora, Macy's, and the Urban Decay site.

Zoya Paradise Sun Summer 2015 Collection
****Press Sample****
Here is the other half of Zoya's Summer 2015 Collections. This is the Paradise Sun collection and this one is some beautiful metallics! I love these new summer colors!!!
Fully saturated with a gorgeous micronized metallic sheen, these shimmering beauties are much like sunshine sparkling onwater. Meant to be used as an independent color, these shades feature afull-coverage, densely pigmented formula.
Genesis is a crystalline white with a micronized metallic pearl finish. Designed to look like micro-fine diamond dust! I like a good white but I am really not sure of how I like the metallic white. It might take me a little getting used to but overall I was pleased with the performance of this one.
Selene is a true teal with a micronized metallic pearl finish. A unique shade with an aqua fleck that resembles deeper layers of ocean water. It is really more of a teal in person but my pictures turned out with it looking more green than anything. I wish I could have gotten pictures that are more true to color but my camera just wouldn't cooperate.
Oceane is a true turquoise with a micronized metallic pearl finish that reflects the clearest blue ocean waters. This blue is breathtaking! I was completely blown away by this one.
Isa is a deep blue-based purple with a micronized metallic pearl finish and an aqua flash that embodies the beauty of exotic island flowers. This purple is more of a blurple (blue/purple) and I really liked it. Purple is another one of my favorite colors.
Mae is a warm magenta pink with a micronized metallic pearl finish, reminiscent of vibrant Mediterranean flowers. This is one of my favorites from this part of the collection. I always love a good pink!
Aphrodite is a vibrant summer red with a micronized pearl metallic finish and multi-hued flash that brings it to life. I had heard from other bloggers that the label on this one was misspelled so I was curious to see if mine was too. When I got my package and I looked, sure enough the label is misspelled but this one is called Aphrodite. Again, my camera didn't cooperate with the pictures for this one but it is more red in person.
I had no issues with any of these in this collection. The only one that went on a little streaky was Genesis but I think that was just because it was a white. Once I put the second coat on it was all good!! I used 2 coats for all of these and pictures were all taken indoors with artificial lighting. Overall I am very pleased with the performance of all of these in this collection. They had a great formula and all went on pretty smoothly, they weren't thick or goopy. I did not use a topcoat on any of these for my swatch pictures.
These are available at Zoya.com and retail for $9 each. You should be able to get them at select salons and Ulta stores in the near future.
